In 1998, Regency Furniture began as a wholesaler distributing home furnishings to the Mid-Atlantic region. As business expanded, we constantly outgrew several warehouses needing to double warehouse capacity every eight months. In 2000, having found a niche in the D.C. metropolitan area, Regency opened its first retail location in Fairfax, VA. Finding tremendous success in retail home furnishings, Regency took their business model and expanded to Largo, MD in 2002 and in Laurel and Waldorf, MD in 2003.
In these few short years, we have become a household name in home furnishings industry and we are on track to become the number one retailer in the area. We are currently planning rapid expansions to the north towards Baltimore and south towards Southern VA.
We are proud to have established relationships with dozens of vendors and manufacturers. Because of these relationships, our current warehouse of almost one million square feet accommodates the desires of almost all of our clients with the largest inventory in the area. We attribute our success to not only the vast selection of merchandise, but also to the purchasing experience itself. We welcome you to any of our locations to find out firsthand.
